November 20 is celebrated worldwide on Universal Children's Day and the 20th anniversary of the entry into force of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Ratified by 192 countries in 1989, the Convention on the Rights of the Child was a landmark, for its approval children is regarded, not as objects of protection, but as a subject in its own right. A development approach based on the rights of children contributes to the occurrence of the social, economic and legal measures to make the world a more just and livable.
