Meka Alliance is conceptualized in 1999 City of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic . Its main driving force is the love of Hip-Hop in all its manifestations. Currently consists of 5 MC's, Reality, Gnomish, New Bel-tone 3, and Junior Polanco Sr.KR , 2 DJ's, Mahogany and King David, and two dancers, and Edwin Jackson . Graffiti in the line of we have Mr Pedro Julio (MIA) , and Mr. Ignacio of Santiago de Los Caballeros. Also, has to his credit with the likes of drummer Martin Percussion .
The Meka is in the final stage of the realization of their debut album , "Mekane Defense" , which is a conceptual album Hip-Hop created with the view of a group of people who see Hip-Hop Culture as a defense mechanism against the ravages of unscrupulous people who hurt majorities, treating them as minorities, figuratively speaking.
Meka Alliance is representative of the group Liberty, producer of the documentary Inventions, and " Almighty Zulu Nation Of Gods And Earths " mythical organization of the Hip-Hop fundamental, created by master Afrika Bambaata of Soulsonic Force.
The band participated in various events in the country, as the First International Festival of Hip-Hop in 2003, the Brahma Soulfest in Cabarete, on Easter 2006, Fair of Youth , at the Hotel Jaragua, in 2006, and First and second days a happy Christmas in 2006 and 2007, Home Theater and El Patio De La Moneda , r spectators.
